MRO vs. Project Business

An MRO supplier is a supplier who usually goes to market through contracts, and supplies products more on a day in and day out maintenance basis, as opposed to a project basis, which usually has a definite beginning and end, and completes a designated SOW (Scope of Work).

With an extensive amount of Inventory of airfield lighting products, in three separate locations within the U.S., and one location overseas, which is in the works, “value-add” capabilities, and the flexibility only a small business with significant resources can provide, we are, in many ways, partnered with the customer, and partnered with the Manufacturer, to bring the commitment all the way, through us, from the customer to the Manufacturer, which benefits all involved.  I believe that, in order to make this work, you must commit to supporting the MRO contract, with a combination of Inventory, a strategic location, and the right people involved.
